African Wildlife
Tanzania / Rwanda

The wish of our clients: a safari in which they would directly experience the wilderness of Africa.

The trip took the family to Tanzania to the Serengeti, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world. At an authentic tented camp, Singita Explore, they ate under the open sky, slept in tents, and enjoyed the wilds of Africa firsthand. They followed the course of nature, herds on their migrations, and experienced the untamed beauty of this continent’s impressive creatures up close. Giraffes and elephants peacefully going about their business in the vastness of the savannah, shy creatures suddenly emerging from the lush green of the riparian forests, big cats perched on rock formations, huge herds of antelope grazing in remote valleys. Full of newfound experiences, they departed and yet onward… Because we still had one encounter in store for them. It continued to the land of a thousand hills – Rwanda. The starting point of their last experience were the “bird nests” of the award-winning eco-lodge Bisate in the Volcanoes National Park. They knew nothing could prepare them for this moment, in the mist-shrouded Virunga Mountains – encountering a group of mountain gorillas in the wild, up close and personal. But then as it happened they felt a sense of deep connection… and took away a realization: We are the sum of our experiences.
